Give your walls an update with a set of our best-selling Modern Rustic Floating Shelves.

The floating shelves are built with a hollow construction with all mitered and beveled edges giving them a seamless look with no visible end grains from any angle.  The hollow construction means lighter weight and easier installation with our simple yet sturdy wooden hanging brackets.

We use rustic alder with uniform saw marks to make our signature Modern Rustic floating shelves.  The saw marks give the wood a lovely texture partnered with knots, cracks and varying wood grain patterns making these mantels each one of a kind. 

**UPDATE: We’ve begun only using the saw mark wood on the front and side facing pieces of the shelves (the most visible part) and then we use the nice smooth Contemporary wood on the top and bottom (the usable surface area). By doing this, we’re able to create a very flat shelf that is easily sealed making them much easier to mount and better for holding larger items.

Choose from our wide variety of stain color options.  Each floating shelf is sealed with two layers of professional grade lacquer.

The shelves in this listing are offered in a set of two.  They come in lengths of 12", 18', 24", 30", 36", 42" and 48".  They are 8" deep by 4" tall/thick.
